The VA NW Health Network - VISN20 intends to negotiate a single source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 13 with the UpToDate. This procurement is for clinical database service. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contractor. Responses received on or before September 29, 2010 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
