The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to TyrrellTech under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement is for Roland Series Printer/Cutter, TrueVIS SG-300 30” vinyl printer/cutter system, annual system maintenance, software, training, and startup supplies in a cleared environment to support NGA Mission. The product code is 7490 Miscellaneous Office Machines. The contract value is estimated at $17,000.00. NGA believes TyrrellTech is the only source reasonably available to satisfy this requirement in a cleared environment. No competition is being sought. The period of performance will be for one (1) year. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 12 pm EST on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
