99--Certified wire rope crypt lid lifting apparatus for lifting concrete lids that cover preplaced crypts

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Contracting Service, located at 75 Barrett Heights Road, Suite 309, Stafford, VA 22556, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote to Quadcast LTD, 6845 Erie Ave, Canal Fulton, OH 44614 to provide supplies for a wire rope lifting apparatus for preplaced crypts installed at national cemeteries. The lid lifting apparatus is to be attached to excavating equipment to lifting half-ton concrete crypt lids. The wire ropes must be certified at minimum strength capacity, and compatible for safe connection with NCA's crypt lid anchors for continual use in all environments. The minimum requirements for the cable assembly must be certified and tagged with the following Angle Rated Capacity (Tons) 60o 2.2 45o 1.8 30o 1.3 This is a Notice of Intent and not a request for proposals.
