44--CANDLE FURNACE

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit for the construction of Candle Furnaces to be installed aboard submarines. The candle furnace is a mechanical device that produces oxygen aboard submarines by burning oxygen candles. The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333994. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
