The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) intends to issue and award a sole source contract with a performance period of five (5) years (Base Year, plus four (1) year option periods) to Guldmann, Inc. for the preventive maintenance of Guldmann patient lift systems. It has been determined that only one responsible source can provide this requirement for the VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care System (VAGLAHCS) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to continue the level of quality of the Veterans Administrations (VA) critical mission in providing support to Veteran patients. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement in writing to Jet Flores, by 2:00PM (PST), Friday, June 15, 2018. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
