The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to issue a sole-source procurement action to RuralWest Western Rural Broadband Inc to install, furnish and maintain official bulk cable television services on Vandenberg AFB. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 517110 with a business size standard of 1,500 employees. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.5, FAR 6.302-1 and AFI 64-101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any firm interested in obtaining a future cable television service contract on Vandenberg AFB can contact the Contracting Office to begin the process of receiving a franchise agreement on Vandenberg AFB.
