The Stryker Procare Prevent Preventative Maintenance Program will include, but not limited to the following: I. All labor, parts, equipment, and travel are all inclusive for scheduled and unscheduled services. II. Scheduled services to perform OEM's Periodic Manufacturer's Certification, electrical Stryker factory trained technician III. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts only IV. Annual preventative maintenance in accordance with OEM specifications and service manual V. Unlimited on-site repair services VI. Diagnostics checks VII. Loaner of bed(s) VIII. Joint Commission (JC) and Det Norske Veritas Healthcare (DNV) required documentation IX. Compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements and guidelines This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer to solicit from one source. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for 5/1/2015. The place of performance is as follows: VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92121. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is $20.5 million. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
