36 -- SCANNING UNITS

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to place an order with KBA-GIORI for Scanning Units Wave for the Cope Pak Presses. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 13.106-1. The resulting purchase order shall not exceed the simplified purchase threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.106 shall be used. See numbered not 22.
