Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army  Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order to Hills, Inc. 7 785 Ellis Road, West Melbourne, Florida 32904. The order will be for 1 - Preheat Oven with custom internal rack to hold spin packs for NRX-11 tricomponent machine, 1  Quick connectors and premade cables for the NRX-11, 1  steel stairway and landing to the NRX-11 tricomponent platform (to include set of wheels), 1 set of Polymer Distribution Pate to convert tricomponent Sheath/Core cross sections to bicomponent S/C., 1 set Polymer Distribution Plate to allow homofilament spinning with the NRX-11 ma chine, 1 set Polymer Distribution Plate to form Sheath/Core/Core cross section for the tricomponent NRX-11 spin pack, 1 set Polymer Distribution Plate to produce 64 Islands-in-the-sea cross section for Bicomponent setup for the NRX-11 machines spin pack, the government will use on the unique, one of a kind, tricomponent extruder they have designed and built for an ongoing fiber program at the Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineer Center.
