73 -- Tray RAtion Heating Systems and Spare Parts Support

Due to DSCP migration into BSM the solicitation shall now read SPM3sd-06-R-0002. The Marine Corps (MC) currently has a fleet of 469 Tray Ration Heating Systems (NSN 7310-01-295-7479) deployed throughout the world which require support in the form of spare parts, sub-assemblies, components, and complete replacement systems to support its use and maintenance. Additional, the Air Force has fielded over 50 complete Single Palletized Expeditionary Kitchen (SPEK) Kits and the Air National Guard over 46 three (3) piece SPEK Component Kits over the last 2 years. Resulting contract will provide any end item systems, such as the TRH and SPEK, as well as spare part supoort. Solicitation will result in a contract with one base year and four one year options periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Complete solicitation will be posted to BSM -DLA Internet Bid Board System, www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. The NSN contained in the following Federal Stock Groups, included in the solicitation, are subject to the Trade Agreements Act: 73, 53, 41, 45, 29, 47, and 48.Reference Number Note 22.
