The Department of Veterans Affairs Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to issue and award a sole source single award Firm-Fixed Price type contract with a performance period of five (5) years to Omnicell, Inc., 590 E. Middlefield Rd, Mountain View, CA 94043, for full-service annual maintenance coverage and software support services on proprietary Omnicell equipment at the MEDVAMC, located at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030. It has been determined that through Market Research, only one responsible source can provide the services required via the attached Scope of Work (SOW) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements . THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government by providing the following: 1. Statement of Capability: Submit a brief [five (5) pages or less] capability statement explaining your capability to perform services for the MEDVAMC. Include experience in performing these services for the VA, other Government (Federal or State) agency, or for a private medical facility. 2.
