AC2ISRC and AFCEA Tidewater Chapter invite senior leaders from industry, small business and academia to attend CAOC-X Industry Day, 6-7 February 2001 at the Langley Officers Club, Langley AFB VA. CAOC-X represents the AF future vision for rapid research, development and fielding--a test-bed for facilitating the accelerated fielding of experiment proven technologies to the coalition C2&ISR warfighter. The event will include a one-day orientation and capability/requirements exchange held at the Langley Officers Club, Langley AFB, Virginia, Wednesday, February 7, 2001, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Event includes an overview of the AC2ISRC/ESC missions, CAOC-X Concept of Operations, spiral development process, coalition C2&ISR requirements briefings, a tour of the newly operational CAOC-X facility, continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. The goal of CAOC-X Industry Day is to encourage commercial, small business and academic innovation in partnership with the AF to bring needed technological advances in support of current and future coalition warfighter requirements. Participation is requested by industry, small business and academic leaders whose technology, products or research support the command & control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission. Attendees will be invited to return to Langley AFB in May 2001 to demonstrate their innovations at the CAOC-X Symposium. Invitees are also encouraged to participate in the Industry Day Ice-Breaker scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, 2001 from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at the Langley Officers Club.
