73 -- Modification of estimated dollar value solicitation number SPM3SD-06-R-0002

This notice is a modifcation to the original synopsis posted March 24, 2006. Total dollar of reference C(1) solicitaion for the acquistion of the Tray Ration Heating System (TRH - NSN 7310-01-295-7479), Single Palletized Expeditionary Kitchen Kit (SPEK - NSN 7360-01-514-1442) and various manufacture part numbered NSNs is hereby amended to increase the estimated total dollar value of the procurement from $13.5 million to $44 million dollars. This is necessary due to the dramatic increase in the Marines requirements for the original items, the addition of 4 items by the Marines, plus unanticipated requirements from the Army. Additional items are: 7310-01-535-6997, PMB3000, POWERD MULTIFUEL BURNER (PMB); 7310-01-535-6986, PMBS001, PMB Sled Assembly; 7310-01-535-7021, TRHA2420, PMB Griddle; and 6130-01-493-1792, DUI24300Q, POWER INVERTER with NATO Slave Plug.
