The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority for FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Xerox is considered the only source that can provide on-site maintenance support for six (6) Xerox units for the period of one year. Xerox is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and has authorized no other vendor to offer service or maintenance. Use of another vendor would void all warranties.
