Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A request for quotation (RFQ) is available and to obtain a copy, contact the contract specialist, Teresa Knotts at (614) 693-1974 or by email at [email protected]. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business and the associated NAICS code is 811213, Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the small business size standard is $6,000,000.00. The requirement is to obtain maintenance for the Government owned Nortel Norstar Electronic Key Telephone System at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Oakland, California. The resulting contract will be for one base year and include four one-year option periods. The base year period of performance is to be October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with inspection and acceptance at destination and F.O.B. destination.
