Notice of Intent to Award A Sole Source Contract - Night Vision Goggle Repair and Calibration

The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price purchase to Hoffman Engineering Inc. for the repair and calibration of night vision goggle equipment p/n ANV 20/20. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.302 and other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b). This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
