NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE : This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. These datasets are inputted into the Strategic Material Analysis & Reporting Topography (SMART) system which aggregates data from various sources to provide DLA Strategic Materials’ analysis the most accurate view of the global supply chain. This service will be used as an efficient method for adding meaningful data about companies and facilities to the SMART system. Therefore, receiving these datasets will maximize the value of the SMART system, which aids DLA Strategic Materials’ mission to analyze the global supply chain, understand supply chain risk, analyze foreign ownership issues, and identify sole source producers.
