NA NAICS 541511. This Notice is provided in accordance with FAR Parts 5 and 6. The United States Department of Transportation (DOT), Research and Special Programs Administration (RSPA), Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) intends to negotiate solely with CTech, Inc. to provide custom modifications and enhancements to EVS/MVS software. Government market research indicates that EVS/MVS is proprietary software owned and licensed by CTech, Inc.. Therefore, CTech, Inc. is the only available source of providing modifications and enhancements to the EVS/MVS software. Any person, firm or entity believing it can provide modifications and enhancements to CTech, Inc.’s EVS/MVS software is encouraged to send written notice to the Contract Specialist listed below. The written not ice should include sufficient information to demonstrate the ability to provide the services and must be received no later than 1600 hrs. March 11, 2004. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. No verbal communications will be acknowledged or accepted.
