INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE Estimated Date of Award: 31 Dec 2021 Synopsis: Maintenance Service and Support for Aspen/Mammography Reporting System This is a sole source announcement. A written solicitation will not be issued. NCO 7 Columbia, SC, in support of Charlie Norwood VAMC, Augusta, GA, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Volpara Solutions, Inc, to procure on-site and remote services for an Aspen/Mammography Reporting System. The period of performance shall be for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 511210 with a business size standard of $41.5M. This notice is provided pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR part 6.302-1: the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Extensive market research was conducted prior to the posting of this notice and Volpara Solutions, Inc. is the only source found to be able to provide the on-site and remote maintenance service for an Aspen/Mammography Reporting System. The intent of this notice is not to solicit competitive offers. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested offerors may submit their capabilities or responses NLT 3:00pm EST, 10 Dec 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or to any other follow up information requests.
