Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN -01 Networking Contracting Office-01 intends to award a commercial (FAR Part 12) Large Business, Limited Source Task Order with ScriptPro USA, Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6. Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized. The Government anticipates award of a Base Year plus four (4) option years, firm-fixed price Task Order. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing maintenance services and software support of ScriptPro USA, Inc. hardware (Robotic Prescription Dispensing Systems) and software through a call center available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) day a week and provide remote diagnostic testing and support, field service, relocation of equipment, training and annual preventive maintenance in support of the VA Boston Healthcare System locations. CONFORMANCE STANDARDS: Contractor shall ensure that the equipment functions IAW Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) performance standards. Do not send any information unless you are able to demonstrate the firm s ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above. Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition exists and that acquiring these services by soliciting competition is more advantageous to the Government. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) and Representations and Certifications must be completed prior to any future award. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to provide the full maintenance and repair service. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to procure subject services. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this notification. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements on or before Tuesday, January 23, 2018 by 1630/4:30PM Eastern Standard Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Task Order action based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will use the information received to determine whether other sources are available and capable of satisfying this requirement.
