Notification of Intent to Solicit and Negotiate with a Single Source: Bayer Healthcare LLC The purpose of this Notice is to inform the public of our intention to sole source to Bayer Healthcare LLC.for Preventative Maintenance and Services for Bayer Healthcare-manufactured MEDRAD Intego PET Infusion System. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Purpose The overall purpose of this requirement is to ensure year-round maintenance coverage for this item located on the West Haven Campus of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Equipment Medrad Intego, Model # DCS-INTG; Serial #: 100021 Scope All vendors that are capable of servicing MeDRAD equipment must provide the MANUFACTURER S copy of proof to work on their equipment, as well as certification to work with the specific radiation dosing equipment listed above. Mandatory Tasks and Deliverables All vendors must provide a complete listing of their service days/hours of operation; response time upon calling in for repair; and all terms and conditions regarding materials, labor, and service for MEDRAD equipment. Period of Performance The period of performance is to be an annual contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one year options.
