J--Intent to Procure Sole Source-Maintenance Service on Energy Management System

This is a notice of intent of the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas to negotiate sole source with TL Services, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, to provide complete maintenance service on the medical center's energy management system. The government believes that only one service-disabled veteran-owned small business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 19.1406. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 19, 2006. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor will responses received after June 19, 2006.
