DHA IDIQ FOR NURSES AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS FOR JAPAN

NOTICE OF CONTRACT AWARD: The Defense Health Agency, Contracting Office - San Diego (HT9410), 7700 Arlington Blvd., Falls Church, VA 22042, has awarded a firm-fixed-priced (FFP), indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for personal and non-personal services for multi-disciplinary health care workers (e.g., advance practice nurses, nurses, assistants, social workers and clerks) to provide health care services in United States military treatment facilities located in the country of Japan. Supplementation of personnel at any DoD Military Treatment Facility (MTF) and whose personnel are located in Japan shall be considered within the scope of the requirement. In accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(4), this procurement was not synopsized as it is authorized by statute. This requirement was set aside to a Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 8(a) tribally owned firm in accordance with FAR Part 6.203 Set-Asides for Small Business Concerns. Specifically, the requirement was executed as a non-competitive 8(a) award to a firm owned by an Indian tribe in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(b)(2) and the 8(a) Partnership Agreement between the SBA and the Department of Defense. Task orders will be awarded on a FFP basis.
