Notice of Sole Source Award for Maintenance and Repair Services for a Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator

Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5 (JA 20-RHCO-P-474 [Redacted] attached), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch), Lacey, WA, awarded a sole source contract to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. for a base period only in the estimated amount of $249,950.00 to purchase maintenance and repair service for a Government-owned Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator. Varian Medical Systems, Inc. has proprietary rights on hardware/software of the Government owned Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator currently used at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Tacoma, WA. The contract action is for supplies or services which the Government negotiated with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This award notice is not a request for quote/proposal. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
