DESC: Special Notice: The AFTC Contracting Directorate (AFTC/PZIOA), Edwards AFB has awarded a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, (Contract # FA9301-14-M-B011), under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Time Warner Cable, Inc. Date of award: 3-31-2014. The applicable NAICS Code is 515210. The following is a brief description of the acquisition: The government awarded a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Cable TV Services in support of nine (9) medical facilities with a total of 37 cable connections. The requested cable services are available only through one provider due to the current infrastructure for cable services was established by Time Warner Cable and is not available to another provider. Establishing new infrastructure or adding specified hardware for other types of systems is considered cost prohibitive. An approved Sole Source Acquisition Letter is attached to this notice.
