NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a Sole Source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to KNAPP INC. 2124 Barrett Park Drive, Suite 100, Kennesaw, GA 30144. KNAPP Inc. will provide monthly KNAPP hotline and annual maintenance services for the Hines CMOP- 5th and Roosevelt, Building 37 NW Dock 18, Hines, IL 69141. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), allowing the Contracting Officer to solicit from one source. The NAICS code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $22.0 M. This is a sole source requirement with a supporting J and A and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations, competitive offers, or capability statements. There will be no solicitation posted as a result of this notice. Phone calls will not be accepted.
