V--Single Engine Air Tanker Services in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs

Provide Single Engine Air Tanker flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression programs. The airplanes will be based at Bemidji, Minnesota, Omak, Washington and Whiteriver, Arizona. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. Period of performance are 45 calendar days, April 15, 2003 through May 29, 2003 at Bemidji, 60 calendar days, June 30, 2003 through August 28, 2003 at Omak and 106 calendar days, April 1, 2003 through July 15, 2003 at Whiteriver. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a FAA approved hopper capacity of at least 799 gallons of material weighing 7,350 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is January 21, 2003.
