This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, of quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source, single award IDIQ to Dr. Daniel Todd for Board Certified Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician Services for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System located at 1309 W 51st St., Sioux Falls SD 57105. The proposed procurement is to award a short-term contract for Board Certified Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician Services to support the Sioux Falls SD VA Healthcare System. Due to the short notice requirement, Dr. Daniel Todd has already been credentialed and backgrounded by the VA enabling seamless transition from the expiring contract. A long-term contract opportunity is forthcoming. The intended sole source award to Dr. Daniel Todd is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101. This Special Notice is being issued for information purpose only.
