In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B,B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents this notification represents the formal public announcement and the official start of a streamlined competition on the mechanical maintenance services commercial activity function performed at the United States Border Station, Thousand Islands State Park, Wellesley Island, NY, the Social Security Administration Trust Fund Building, Watertown, NY and the United States Customhouse, Ogdensburg, NY. PBS provides for the Federal government’s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of three (3) commercial activity FTE represent the incumbent service provider located in Wellesley Island, NY (2 commercial activity FTE) and Ogdensburg, NY ( 1 Commercial activity FTE). The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by government personnel.
