Notice of Intent to Sole Source: 36C77620Q0123 Research & Survey Database Subscription Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) intends to issue a sole source contract to KLAS Enterprises, LLC for an annual KLAS Arch Collaborative Subscription. Justification: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Clinical Informatics and Data Management Office (CIDMO) in order to accomplish its mission requires Subject Matter Expertise (SME) contract support to measure and improve its current and future Electronic Health Record. To satisfaction and provide increased visibility into the healthcare information technology market there is a need to ensure that it has resources in meetings that would include research executives/subject matter experts, to be determined based on the topics of discussion on the agenda. The individuals participating in these meetings would vary depending on the key items for discussion on the agenda for each meeting. Background: The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Health Informatics (OHI), is to provide benefits and services to Veterans of the United States. The Clinical Informatics and Data Management Office (CIDMO) Directors Office is composed of three functional areas Strategy, Architecture, and Innovation; Value Management; and Operations. The Directors Office is responsible for conducting organizational assessments; developing, maintaining, monitoring, and communicating CIDMO strategy; providing a single touchpoint for customers; managing culture, supporting diversity, employee development, and growth; and developing and managing CIDMO policies and procedures, among other responsibilities. Submittal Information: As stated above, this is an Intent to Sole Source. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
