R--Notice of Intent to Award Recurring Contract for Marketing Program with Brigham Young University.

This is a notice of intent to make a Sole Source award under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Sole Source to BYU/IMG Sports Network, 540 North Trade Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 for televising select games during 2013-2014 football season on ESPN. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Other than Full and Open Competition. Firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Jennifer Shaw in writing via email to [email protected] by 5:00 pm MST on 2 May 2013. Any response to this notice must show clearn and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based opon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government.
