--Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Red Eye Designs Inc. located at 5474 Hudspeth Dairy Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075. The award will be made for the purchase of a vinyl bus wrap package advertising the controled image of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the number 88 National Guard NASCAR race car; Red Eye Designs is the only known vendor authorized by Hendrick Motor Sports to perform this type of work. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 6.302-1, for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
