R--Check to be issued to US Postal Service for Metered Mail- Salisbury VA Medical Center

Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) intends to sole source a firm-fixed-price, sole-source purchase order to the United States Postal Service through Pitney Bowes. This requirement is for the purchase of metered mail postage for the Pitney Bowes mailing system located at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. This requirement will be fulfilled on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposal contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
