Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Contracting Activity intends to sole source a firm-fixed-price, sole-source purchase order to United States Postal Service. This requirement is for the purchase of metered mail postage for the Pitney Bowes mailing system located at the Charlotte VA Outpatient Clinic in Charlotte, NC. This requirement will be fulfilled on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The purchase order will be granted in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposal contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
