Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order to UNICOR (FPI) for Replace of Old UNICOR Office Chairs

Tricare Management Activity intends to award a sole source purchase order to UNICOR (FPI) for furniture to match existing furniture purchased by UNICOR. Market Research was conducted and determined that FPI's furniture is comparable to the furniture available from the private sector and meets the Government's needs in terms of price, quality and time of delivery. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)&(b)(1), Authorized or Required by Statue. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Responses to this notice must be emailed to [email protected] and received by 5:00 p.m. EST on July 25, 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No additional information related to this notice will be provided
