NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan & Brooklyn Campuses, intend to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to small business OnePointe Solutions, LLC in accordance with FAR subpart 13.106-1. The acquisition sought is for Modular Benches and Cabinets. Currently, New York Harbor Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (NYH PLMS) is part of the NYH VA Medical Center modernization and improvement initiative. The role of the NYH PLMS has been pivotal in the current global pandemic. NYH Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service needs: Laboratory (industrial) grade benches that can accommodate a minimum weight of 1000 lbs. Solid surface benchtop material that is free of seams allowing for complete disinfection Benches that are easily adjustable from desk height to bench (counter) height. Benches that have wheels for transport from one location to another, but that also provide stability when placed. Benches that can be built to customizable lengths and widths to meet the needs of various spaces and configurations of multiple labs/lab sections in Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses The ability to add customized shelving at varying heights above the benchtop to accommodate our workflow, the floor equipment, and countertop/tabletop equipment to be placed on the bench/tabletops. The ability to provide portable storage (drawers) so that storage can be moved from one bench or room to another as needed. The ability to attach a narrow shelf in the back of the bench to hold heavy equipment required accessories like uninterrupted power sources. This proposed new contract shall be awarded to OnePointe Solutions, LLC, 1112 Swenson Blvd., Elgin, TX 78621-3259 This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Challenges to this Intent to Sole Source shall be sent to [email protected] no later than 15:00 EST on June 11, 2021. Any responses received will be considered for the purposes of determining sources for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
