Any responses to this announcement will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government s use of such information. Purpose and Objectives: VISN 10, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, is issuing a notice of intent to pursue a non-competitive procurement with JohnsonDanforth, for an Oil Cooler for Elevators G1 and G2 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (VAMC). JohnsonDanforth has met the suitability criteria, as determined in accordance 41 USC 1901, is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) and the anticipated contract action is hereby publicized in accordance with FAR 5.101 and 5.203. The purpose of this notification is to communicate the Government s intent to solicit and award a non-competitive procurement for Oil Cooler for Elevators G1 and G2 at the Indianapolis VAMC. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. VAMC requires services to be performed starting February 26, 2023, and completed by March 31, 2023, as a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order with JohnsonDanforth, to provide the required services described herein. NAICS code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors The size Standard is $19.5 Million. Product Service Code is J049 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment This non-competitive award is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), and 38 USC 8127(b) as the only contractor that meets the suitability criteria and time requirements as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under FAR Parts 12, 13, and 19. Market research has revealed only one SDVOSB that meets suitability and time requirements at a fair and reasonable price. In accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(2) and 38 USC 8127(b) as authorized by statute CO s may use the non-competitive procedures when there is only one responsible source that satisfies the agency requirements. JohnsonDanforth meets this criterion. Therefore, the Government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from JohnsonDanforth. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. All information received from this notice will be considered solely for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
