THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Ambulance and Medical Transportation Services for the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Devens in Ayer, Massachusetts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 (Size Standard: $15 million). The Government contemplates awarding a small business/requirements-type contract with a firm-fixed unit price resulting from a potential future solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, ambulatory vehicles, materials, equipment, and licenses required to provide both emergent and non-emergent ambulance and medical transportation services. The contractor shall transport inmate(s) to the desired hospital specified by FMC Devens. Trips may occur at any time, without notice. The estimated quantities for a 12 month period are 279 ALS trips and 94 BLS trips. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including any subsequent solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site.
