Brand Name Justification for Workplace Systems: Waters Mass Spectrometer Bench

This synopsis is a Brand Name Justification. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to purchase a commercially available brand name Workplace Systems: Waters Mass Spectrometer Bench. Included in this acquisition are parts, paint set-up and assembly. The EPA believes that the Workplace Systems: Waters Mass Spectrometer Bench is the only equipment capable of housing and aiding in a properly functioning Waters Acuity UPLC/TQD Mass Spectrometer due to its unique specifications. The mobile bench contains a noise proof compartment which houses the vacuum roughing pump. This compartment is ventilated by an electric fan to prevent over heating. The compartment also contains an industrial roll out drawer which the roughing pump sits atop to provide easy access during routine maintenance. The bench contains an additional roll out compartment used to hold hazardous waste collection containers. The back and sides of the bench have specific cut outs and power strips for vacuum hoses, ventilation, and electrical cords that exactly match the specific needs and dimensions of both the operating systems and instruments that will be housed within it. Other specs: 5 pull out drawers for instrument parts, side bracket to hold a tower PC.
