Sources Sought ACOUSTIC CEILING TILES WITH INSTALL SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, IL This is a request for information only. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide and install an Acoustic Ceiling Tiles in Bldg. 1700 on Scott AFB IL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 326140 Polystyrene Foam Product Manufacturing and the business size is 1000 Employees. Description of Service The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services to provide and install Acoustic Ceiling Tiles for 10 private offices in Bldg. 1700 on Scott AFB IL. Performance Requirements - AFSPC CYSS has 10 private offices in Bldg. 1700, Room 2100 that require noise-reduction tile in the ceiling. The walls of the offices are only as tall as the dropped ceiling, so noise/sound escapes, even when the doors are closed. - Tiles will be cut to the dimensions provided below in the quantities indicated; additional trimming/cutting may be required onsite to ensure proper fit. - Tiles will be glued/affixed to the existing tiles to prevent shifting if the ceiling tiles are removed - 24" X 24" Acousti-Board ULTRA 13 lb Density Recycled acoustical fiber Item #NBABU122448, QTY 373 - 12" X 24" Acousti-Board ULTRA 13 lb Density Recycled acoustical fiber Item #NBABU122449, QTY 119 Contract Type 375 Contracting Squadron is anticipating a performance based, firm fixed price contract.
