S -- Maintenance & Repair of Cadet Mail Boxes

This requirement is for the combination changes, maintenance, repair, and service calls, for the Cadet Mailboxes at Vandenberg Hall, United States Air Force Academy, CO. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform maintenance, repair and combination changes, and service calls for approximately 6,100 (approximately 2000 combination changes, 100 repairs and 15 service calls a year) cadet mailboxes. The proposed contract will be set aside for small business.This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 15 Contracting by Negotiations Procedures to procure a Firm Fixed Price, (FFP) contract. Period of Performance is anticipated to begin 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, with four one-year option periods.
