R--My HealtheVet Scheduling Program Business and Functional Management Support- Notice of Intent

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for business and functional services required to support the HealtheVet Scheduling Program (SP). The TAC intends to award a sole source, twelve (12) month, firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to SBG Technology Solutions (SBG), 2 Brittany Lane in Stafford, VA 22554, a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute. This acquisition will provide business support services including support to routine tasks associated with the business operations of a VA program and planning and managing program assets. This includes managing data for and compiling Program Management Accountability System (PMAS) reports, financial management, capital planning, cost estimating, risk management, and integrated schedule management, for example. Functional Management includes identifying, documenting, analyzing, tracking and testing end user requirements. The purpose of this procurement is to provide the business and functional services required to support the SP in planning and managing business and functional aspects of the program. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541611. The estimated date of award for this action is September 30, 2010.
