R -- Payroll and Travel Services

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has a requirement for the performance of payroll and travel services, and program and subject matter expert support. This work involves the administration of the payroll system and records such as verification and submission of time and attendance information; collection, verification and submission of mandatory and voluntary deductions; changes and adjustments; supplemental pay checks; payroll records; reconciliation and administration of the Mass Transit Subsidy program to include the distribution of metro checks, parking permits, and the administration of the Smart benefits program. Administration of travel system, audit of travel authorizations; vouchers and reimbursements in accordance with appropriate regulations, compliance and procedures travel records maintenance; reconciliation of outstanding advances and travel vouchers; knowledge of Government credit card rules and regulations, reconciliation of Government Centrally Billed Credit Card, travel savings program, and travel audits: Provide payroll and travel systems training in accordance with their regulations. Provide program reports and subject matter expert support. The NAICS code is 541214. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business participation. The solicitation will be issued as performance based, and the resultant contract will be a performance based contract with a twelve (12) month base performance period, and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The solicitation and any amendments will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov website. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/around January 15, 2008. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be distributed. Upon issuance of the solicitation, there will be an identified question and answer period.
