71 -- Upgrades and Installation of C Core Furniture

Bureau of the Public Debt, Administrative Resource Center (ARC) intends to award as a sole source to Pioneer Network Inc., 1406 New York Road, #202, Lutherville, MD 21093, the non-FSS portion for upcharges/upgrades. The GSA portion of this furniture requirement is being procured from C Core on their GSA Schedule number GS-29F-0028J. Pioneer Network Inc. is the authorized installer/reseller for C Core in West Virginia. These upcharges/upgrades are an integral part of the requirement and cannot be reasonably separated from this order. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Non-FSS portion is being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Public Debt will consider written responses received no later than 2:00 p.m. EDT, September 29, 2005, and must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows the vendor is a certified reseller/installer of C Core furniture and can propose on the non-FSS portion of this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
