FY13-15 Fuze and Crush Switches for Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) System Full Rate Production (FRP9-11)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract to Thales Missile Electronics Limited. This acquisition is for for the FY13-15 procurement of the Multi Application Fuze Initiation System, Crush Switch, Engineering Support, Technical Data, Attrition and Spares for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) AGM-154C-1 (Navy and FMS). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Multi Application Fuze Initiation System and Crush Switch for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) AGM-154C-1, was designed and developed by Thales Missile Electronics Limited (TME). TME is the sole designer/developer and is the only company with the knowledge, experience and access to the technical data necessary to fulfill the Government's need and meet its schedule requirements.
