EST SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, North Atlantic Industries, 110 Wilbur Place, Bohemia, NY 11716. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of detailed drawings/specifications test procedures and test stations in addition to duplicative costs and time that will be required to reverse engineer the system. All other offeror's may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. CLIN 0001 ANGLE POSITION INDICATOR Qty of 3 Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), supply contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with delivery F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. Solicitation will be available for download on the FedBizOpps website. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation.
