SYNOPSIS: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is FHF-14-Q-0236. This procurement is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, this acquisition is a total set aside for Small Business. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334112--Computer Storage Device Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 1,000 employees. The government anticipates awarding one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order as a result of this solicitation. STATEMENT OF WORK: The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), Office of Technology and Information Management (OTIM) requires the specific commercial IT devices identified under Attachment A, Schedule of Supplies/Services, at the quantities specified therein. FHFA requires the exact brand name items and equivalent/substitute items will not be considered technically acceptable. A redacted version of the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is provided under Attachment C to document the requirement for the brand name items. No grey market or refurbished products shall be delivered. All delivered products shall be genuine OEM factory fresh. If applicable to the particular product, the contractor shall be an OEM-authorized distributor. For the purposes of obtaining manufacturer pricing, FHFA has provided Dell Reference Numbers listed with each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) under Attachment A.
