Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Comcast Government Services (Hardwired Cable Services)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 5. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) set forth in FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion Repair, Groton (SSGR) intends to award a firm fixed price contract with base year and 4 option years to Comcast Government Services, LLC, 11951 Freedom Drive, Suite 900, Reston, VA 20190 for hardwired cable television services. All other responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to provide the required service in accordance with the specification before 7:00 A.M. EST on 08 JUNE 2026 , which may be considered by the Agency for a future award. Responses to this notice shall be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected]. The Government will not pay for any information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This special notice is issued for informational purposes only. The justification and approval for sole source is attached.
