ANNUAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AND SPRINKLER ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS

It was determined that solicitation posted under RFQ 36C24726Q0537 for Annual Fire Alarm System and Sprinkler Electrical Inspections does not accurately reflect the VA’s requirements. Therefore, it is in the Government’s best interest to cancel said RFQ and allow the VA to review and revise its requirements, with the issuance of a new solicitation at a later date. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 effective 03/13/2026. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561210- Facilities Support Services, with a small business size standard of $47 Million. The Network Contracting Office 7 is seeking annual Fire Alarm System inspections and sprinkler‑related electrical inspections for the Montgomery Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care System across multiple buildings located on the Perry Hill Road campus.
