COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Solicitation HQ0095-05-T-0092 is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Duty Ammunition in accordance with the Government’s requirement. (iii) This Solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-01, effective March 9, 2005. (iv) This requirement is set-aside for small businesses, the associated NAICS code is 332993. (v) This is a brand name requirement for Federal CCI SPEER LE 223T3 Tactical Round. CLIN 0001 20,000 Qty - Duty Ammunition; 223 rifle ammunition; 62 grain tactical bonded. Specifications: Velocity 2715 FPS; Penetration 16.00; expansion .4955; retained weight 609; percent weight retained 98.23 percent (vi) The requirement shall be FFP. (vii) Delivery: As soon as possible, but not later than March 31, 2005, FOB Destination. Ship to: Pentagon Force Protection Agency, ATTN: Dave Mayberry, 9000 Defense Pentagon, Room 2E139, Washington DC 20301-9000. Notification must be given 48 hours in advance.
